A 35-foot+ long comic strip designed as
an accordion-fold booklet, ! holds the informal record as
the longest commercially available comic strip in the world

The design was intended to mimic the “endless”
scrolling composition of an web page, but the story can also be read
page-to-page, as a traditional comic book.

Told only in pictures and threaded, crisscrossing
lines of panels, ! was awarded a Xeric
self-publishing grant in 2009.

All design elements, story and illustration were executed
by myself. Printing/folding was handled locally.
